20th December 2009, KWVR with snoww =]

Post by steamingyorkshire »

Well what was suppose to be a trip over to the East Lancs soon got curtailed with more snow forecasted and not wanting to get stuck, so was a matter of what to do... I did intend on going over to the moors but having heard that was bad too, I decided to go over to the KWVR.

Anyway i service was 2MT No.41241 & 8F No.90733 seen at various locations along the line, some which included me getting a little white from the snow showers :hehe

I've uploaded a couple of the shots but i've placed the rest on the 'Steaming Around Britain's Preserved Railways 2009' DVD.

Cheers, glad you liked the footage... The long cold waits were rather worth it now whilst sitting back in the warm and watching it through =]
