Is the Dubai Metro really that fast?

Makes me think of the F59phi locos that are used on a number of commuter services in the use (including the local TRE). Nice streamlining compared to the usual coloured boxes (or the earlier ph variant) and I've even heard members of the public call them "bullet trains" at train shows, but the top speed is only about 85mph or so!

Note the semaphores in the indian pic.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
