With a few mysterys being solved on the site of late can i prod members into looking again at page 3 of this thread and try to put a positive ID on the Scottish? themed pics.

If you mean the picture with the station with a level crossing in the distance it is a cheat!! It is Coxhoe W.H on the line from Ferryhill in County Durham but the photo has been reversed.Here is my pic C.1980 after the building was demolished.It was closed to passengers about 1895 hence the low platform.

Looks alot like the old H&BR station at little Weighton. I am probably a mile off though!!

You could see several steam locos here, none of them moving.

Lol yeah I have an old photo by J.W. Armstronng which shows A8 69831, J25 65697, J21 65103 and D49 62775 "The Tynedale" stored on the coal drops.
