While looking through this site I decided to look at some of the former important railway sites which no longer exist or are now just waste land. Its amazing how much of the railway infrastructure has disappeared this last few years.

Very nice. That brings memories back of working freight services around that area, especially over the Leamside line and taking cement wagons in The Forth.
