This scheme was an improvement, I don't think so. Maybe they should consider re introducing signalling as this is the second incident. I only heard of the two crashes through a friend. Imagine if the crashes involved DMUs we would never hear the end of it and it would be splashed all over the national press.

There's been a lot of criticism of this scheme, including from people wanting to put the railway back.

Was the bus driver doing the crossword? Barring mechanical malfunction, he must have either been too close to the bus in front (why?) or not paying attention.

A white elephant if theres ever been one, but then Cambridge council are well known for been on the other side of insane anyway. You should read their tunnel scheme. Talk about nuts!
