Justv a quick note to explain my long abscence, prolonged internet problems and numerous railtours havern't had time to stand still lol
The weather here is Baltic but so were the tank engines
Furness Railway and GCR fan.

Welcome back Tom. There's been lots of LNER preservation news - virtually all positive. The B1's failure in Fort William is the only major negative thing. Green Arrow also had a hot box - but so did Mallard and it was running two weeks later :-)

thanks richard have been keeping up with news heard about the 9 inch hole in the B1 cilinder OUCH! Princess Elizibeth agian????? 5 week job aparently
