1922 Fire at West Hartlepool

I have just watched a silent newsreel of the aftermath of a fire in West Hartlepool which seemed to have destroyed quite a bit of property. There was damaged railway track and wagons and the firemen were hosing down what looked like pit props. Hartlepool was one of the NERs ports were any locos damaged during this fire. Can any one point me at any more material on this blaze.

Hartlepool was a big importer of pit props, there used to be mountains of them!

I lived in (West) Hartlepool until 1970.
I wasn't really aware of the timber yards in the docks but do remember the large piles of pit props in the yards on the right hand side after you went past Mainsforth Terrace and over the railway towards Seaton Carew mentioned in the 1949 fire item.
