Just watched a video of it moving about under it's own steam at Crewe today, will be nice to see that on the mainlines some time soon.

I saw that video too. Once the A1 is back in service we'll have a loco from each class back on the network again, Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for the return of 60532 looking very different in Blue, I only say that as I have never known the loco to operate in Blue.

I even remember watching the Blue Peter episode where Simon Groome went to see the locomotive yard at Doncaster and pokes his head out through the locos chimney.

Back in 1970 I sent the then Blue Peter 'Locomotive Restoration Appel' one old £5 pounds pre 1971 UK decimal currency so I always like to think that I paid for and own at least one 'rivet' on the loco. :wink:
