Merry Christmas, and may your stocking be full of trains!

I haven't posted pictures yet but we do have a Christmas train set up, based around a Lionel 3-rail "Polar Express". Also added post-war automatic signals (with a modern IR controller) and a restored Automatic Gateman (Lionel produced in 1950 and has been in production ever since). Samuel loves it. The plan is to build on it each year - and the board has enough room eventually for two loops and more buildings.

This being, above all, a very decent forum to which to belong, I sincerely wish a very Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone here.

So much specialised knowledge so readily shared when queries are posted, and such a civilised forum : Not unique but perhaps one of a select few going by some post-ers accounts of forum experiences elsewhere.
It makes helping those seeking information herein with answers quite rewarding.

Manners are society's lubricant. And I too am grateful for the sharing of information and experience and the willingness to help.
