Beamish Great North Festival of Transport 2014

Great weekend spent at Beamish with the Durham Pals, and fortunately the chance to have a bit of a look around at the non-WW1 exhibits
Motorcyclist looks at some new accessories for his machine.... or maybe an entirely new vehicle?
One of the stars of the show for me was this 1916 Albion A10 2 Ton lorry
Wallis & Steevens light steam tractor
Steam up in the Station yard
Two Crossley 20/25's of the Great War - a 1914 staff car and a 1918 tender, as used by the Royal Flying Corps
View into the cab of the Albion
Barclay 0-6-0ST 'Salmon' of 1942
Did a bit of film work on the railway on Sunday morning which meant a different view of the NER rolling stock located there
1910 International Harvester
1913 Thornycroft, formerly and now back in the livery of Hull Corporation, another star for me. I'd seen it before at the Great Dorset Steam Fair and Shuttleworth Steam Fair in 2012 but has had more work done to it since then, and seeing it in my favourite location at Beamish, outside the motor garage, meant I spent at least one entire roll of film on my 1917 Kodak on the subject!
Memorial gun in the park
