First car I had was a 1965 Hillman Husky. Bought it for eight quid off the drummer in the band. The reason being that I was going on holiday to Wales, but knowing the old Husky was in its latter stages, opted to go to the Norfolk Broads instead because of the lack of any appreciable gradients that might come our way. As it turned out, it never missed a beat for the entire fortnight and served me well for another four years after that. Best eight quid I ever spent.

Just caught an interview between Richard Hammond and Sir Stirling Moss talking about brain injuries. I had brain damage meself in my teens plus Cumulative Concussion Syndrome and a series of minor strokes.

It seems the problem is aggravated by certain motoring matters and to a lesser point model railway interests , so my advice to you would be rid your life of French automobile manufactured vehicle's , then make amends with a certain Yorkshire wallet , who in return should open new horizons for the purchace of recently introduced model railway items.

I'm sure there are lots of half built, or poorly built kits going cheap at swapmeets and other railway events.

If you can use your skills in taking them apart and doing them up to a good standard - then sell them on Ebay at a profit.

In my experience, well built locos from kits always seem to command a lot of interest and therefore good prices on that site.
