Ay up, Steve!

I'll have you know I had a bacon sandwich, cooked in a medium 9F firebox! Hmm. The tang of coal smoke with the bacon. Yummy! Yummaroo in fact!!!!!

Looking forward to the end of the shift and the roast spuds cooked in the smokebox. Oh, I took the SC gear out. Spuds are more important than self-cleaning.....
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!

Hello Fellow Model Railway People,

This is a simple announcement to say the Gold Coast Model Railway Club is having its first Family Open Day for the year on Sunday 6th April 2014. :D

Our club rooms at 18 Kendor Street Arundel will open at 10.am to proudly display our 00, N, O and G scale layouts in their full glory. So if you happen to be on the Coast please do drop in to see our trains in full cry or to feast on our famous steak burgers over a hot brew. There’s no room for boredom at our club and all the family is welcome. 8)

And in keeping with the tradition I enclose a photo of BB’s new wine cellar near the signal box at Caledonia. It looks like he’s even got his own Midland DMU service organised for the wine tasting excursions. :o

And what looks like a foreign steam locomotive travelling through a newly created section of our Club layout.

We could have some amusing captions to this photo I’m sure.

Ay up, Steve!

See you've even given me some places to mount a machine dun to repel boarders! But surely - wouldn't the Special be 9F hauled?

As for caption? Hello, Big Boy!
