A BBC journalist who was with the british para's at Arnhem and experienced the bitter fighting at first hand once said that if you met any man in a pub who fought at Arnhem buy him a pint! :wink:

G'day Gents

I certainly sat there in awe, when he was telling me what he did, train driving was very tame, after knocking out a machine gun nest then using the gun on it's former owners, he then said " without that gun none of us would be alive today"
