Use of sound recordings - permission?

I'm putting together a model for Trainz Railway Simulator, and I would like to include a custom whistle sound for this engine. I've come across the recordings on your LNER A4 page, and WAV #2 would be perfect for this project. I was just wondering, what would be the best way to go about obtaining permission to use this recording in my project?

My advice is to ask one of the administrators, they run the site and the forum.
Are you the same wildnorwester that produces the Sodor: The Early Years Series on youtube?
If you are, well done with your work and I'm looking forward for series 4.

You would need permission from Gerry Taylor. I believe I've found his email address (it is a long time since he gave me permission to use those samples). I'll PM it to you.
