Ive been otherwise engaged resently and have been seeing alot of tours, did 60009 on Shap this saturday anyone else see it, looked good from Queens monument and Five ashe loop. Then did 48151 on Llindal/Dalton bank.
I start with Network Rail on September 9th at HMS Collingwood (Gosport) so Iam going to have the southern mainlin scene to play with for a while. Awwww no getting 60019s Talisman and the Jacobite light move this year. It will be the first one ive missed since the North Bound of 1999

Congratulations on the career - the Network Rail apprentice scheme is really excellent and there's a great deal of competition to get on it, so you've done well to secure a place. I wish you success and luck in the railway industry. Just make sure that you stay outside the boundary fence while you're "playing" with the Southern mainline scene, otherwise you're likely to finish with Network Rail on September 10th!Tom Quayle wrote:I start with Network Rail on September 9th at HMS Collingwood (Gosport) so Iam going to have the southern mainlin scene to play with for a while.
A couple of swotty questions you can ask your tutor - "what is Q12?" and "what is the Golden Rabbit (and where is it at the moment)?"
So - did anyone dare tell Stephenson, "It's not Rocket science"?
