In a country (Britain) that has been rebuilt and adapted to accomodate trillions of fictional wheelchair users, I don't think this bus with its internal staircase would go down a bomb.

G'Day Gents
I showed my wife a artical in a Ozzi newspaper the other day that All new house's in Australia now have to be built to wheelchair standards, ie wider doorways, ramps etc. Where are we going???

O/T I know, but in Bristol any pub or cafe with tables outside is going to be taxed per table and chair, because they are a hazard to wheelchairs.

Thanks for those kind thoughts guys, also you must admit there are an awfull lot of granny-grandad racers about, but spare a thought for them that need one either by birth or accident, and DONT start me on white stick's.

It is not that I dont spare a thought (or have sympathy) for disabled people, but it is the way that 5% of the population seem to have a disproportionate and expensive influence on local and national planners.
I bet if all preserved railways were required by law to provide a space for wheelchairs on every item of passenger rolling stock they owned, just in case someone wanted to travel in it instead of the designated converted Mk1, then there would be a different view.
This may seem an outrageous comment, but it is almost the position that many shops now find themselves in.
