Station Master George Knight

Post by MaggieB »

I have found this relative aged 31 who on the 1901 Census is listed as a Railway Station Master. He was living at Station Road Kelvedon, Essex. Does anyone know more?!

Station Road is the location on Kelvedon railway station. During 1901 the station was under the control of the Great Eastern Railway. Staff Records for the Great Eastern Railway are held by the national archives in collection "RAIL 227".

Hi Maggie,

You are likely to obtain more information by making an enquiry through the Great Eastern Railway Society, here: http://www.gersociety.org.uk/index.php? ... &Itemid=23
