Can any of you fine gentlemen advise me on this?
Mrs BB has just discovered that her GG Grandfather was a signalman on the LNWR at Stafford and would like to know a bit more about the life of a signalman and of the LNWR in Stafford between 1854 and 1898. She has little interest in the engines (seems strange to me).
