Telegraph Obit for His Honour Edgar Fay..
...son of Sir Sam Fay,barrister,judge and railway enthusiast,died on Nov.14 aged 101! An interesting individual,well worth a read if anyone stumbles across a copy of The Telegraph for Nov 24.Its poignant to think what memories of the old GC and his father he must have had given he was born in 1908!

Sounds like some steam genes were passed on from his father!
I assume the loco hauling his 100th birthday train was the National Collection's ROD (LNER O4).
