Middlesbrough Station rebuild after air-raid

For some years after being bombed, Middlesbrough Station renained with part of an overall roof. Eventually, it was decided to remove it and to create the present set-up over both platforms.
Whilst this work was on-going, a temporary Saltburn platform was created to the West side of the small signal box near the level crossing [I never saw this crossing 'closed' to trains, because all road traffic seemed to passe underneath].
How long did this temporary platform last, and when was it? I estimate the year as being 1949/50.
