And what does this have to do with "LNER News"?
I'm moving it, but with half a mind to just zap it.

I vaguely recall from somewhere in the dim and distant past seeing a cask bitter either called A1 Ale or A1 Bitter?.
It definitely wasn't called A3 Ale or A3 bitter.

Re: FLYING SCOTSMAN PREMIUM BITTER
Had a bottle of Flying Scotsman myself last night too. Didn't see any special glasses on sale though - probably serves me right for shopping in the local cheapskate's delight (supermarket).

Re: FLYING SCOTSMAN PREMIUM BITTER
It's quite nice stuff - managed to get a crate of them for a social gathering next month.
Re: FLYING SCOTSMAN PREMIUM BITTER
Drink a bottle and it will 'wet your whistle'.
Drink a crate and it will put a 'fire in your grate'.
Drink a couple of crates and you'll be 'letting off steam'.
Drink to many crates and your 'hit the stops' all right!!.
I should have said-
Drink a couple of crates and you'll be 'steamed up alright'!!.
