I see that the latest issue of "Vintage LNER" (No. 24) has an article entitled "The History of the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway. Four and a half pages incl. photos ending in a little bit about the MSLR Museum.

No. 24 also has articles on the North Country Continental - B12s and B17s running through to Manchester, and the Pacific 'rest turns' from Top Shed to Peterborough.

Stuck my nose into the Mid - Suffolk light Railway museum the other day when working close by. Its not my usual sphere of interest but is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, Google for more details.

P.S. put the hyphen in Richard. or people will think you are talking about the forerunner of the Great Central
