I appreciate that the series is not every ones cup of tea.
But worth a watch in my humble opinion.

Ay up!
I just wish that he'd get his facts right. I usually end up screaming at the goggle box! He's nearly as bad as the late Fred Dibnah.....

Agreed - one not to miss, especially as he is round my old home-town of Southend!
(Although my girlfriend will probably despair of me watching it and wondering what I will be looking for next - I was watching one of the programs a while ago, and saw a picture of a line of Colmans mustard trucks at the factory in Norwich, and decided that I had to collect a good rake of them in N Gauge - presently I have 14 and she can't see why I want more...
)

Was it a repeat?
Ok, but not for me, as I had not seen that episode before.

Bah, humbug! The dear old Beeb won't allow us in the far-flung reaches of the planet to view these episodes - rights and all that. They've developed an app for iPhone and iPad, but I don't have either of those. Will they show up on You Tube? Anyone know?

Plus of course us poor bu@@ers in the UK have to pay an extortionate licence fee for the privilege, so why should we subsidise your free viewing?

Ay up!
Try logging on to the BBC iPlayer. If you can log on, you can see it anywhere in the world!

No you can't! Virtually all iPlayer video is limited to the UK (radio is available around the world, though - hence I was listening to "Sorry I Haven't a Clue" on Sunday whilst cutting tubes to store strip,rod,etc!). The Beeb have been trialling an international iPlayer app for iPads/etc which will carry video, but so far limited to Europe. From what I've heard, us ex-pat types will get more back library coverage than you get in blighty, but we'll have to pay a subscription.
