A question was posed on one of the yahoo groups I am involved with and i hope the people on this forum do not mind me posting in the hope that further information can be gleaned, the Six Bells Junction wesite has more detail ... just hoping there may be some info available here
On Sunday 3rd April 1955 the above society organised a special train from
Kings X to York and back hauled by Flying Scotsman. The interesting thing
about this 8 coach train was that it was mostly made up of pre-grouping stock
. One was an ECJS clerestory vehicle SC3620E and another a beavertail.
Does anybody know the numbers of the rest and a photo would be good.
Incidentally the driver was one Bill Hoole!

Remember seeing it as it was the first time I saw 60103. Think it had been on the GC Section until just before then.

Hi all I am the archivist of the Railway Enthusiasts Club in Farnborough.
Going through my photo albums I have discovered a photo of 60103 at Kings X with the Westminster Bank Headboard
Will be posting to our website www.rec-farnborough.org.uk
