Cowbit Station - GN & GE Joint

Hello.
This is my first post, having just joined... I am interested in the history of the above, as I've just bought the station building, and am in the process of renovating it. We've got past the 'why on earth have we done this' stage, and are loking forward to finishing it as a family home. During the renovation we're finding a surprising amount of originality including what I'm pretty sure is original LNER light green paint on the windows - and brown underneath, and varnish under that - would that be Great Northern perhaps? Obviously I'd be interested to see any photos 'in service' - but to date all I've found is post closure and two of it open - one by Douglas Thompson dated 1950 showing B17 Hatfield House steaming through, and one from about the same period showing a line of barrows on the platform. I also have a copy of the CT Goode book. I'm sure there must be more out there somewhere, and as we are looking to renovate outside to as original a look as possible, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Peter
