Hello, I am a newcomer to this interesting forum but not a train specialist. I am looking for any information on passenger traffick (material, stations, timetables if any,..) between London and Newcastle during WW1, more precisely in 1918. I know it is a little bit before LNER was created but ...
Were the passengers train running on a regular schedule during this period?
Did the trains running north only made a stop at the Central Station in Newcastle or did they also stop at Manors?
I thank you in advance
Fokad

Manors was only used for local trains such as the Tyneside electrics and stoppers to Alnwick and Tweedmouth in the pre LNER days.
