LNER WHISTLE Boards

Post by Bryan »

Does anybody have a drawing for LNER Whistle boards?

We as a group are replacing / renewing the missing / rotten posts along the NYMR and are trying to find an official drawing of these boards.
There are 29 in total of which initially we are replacing 10.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

This site any use ?

http://www.railsigns.co.uk/home.html

This is the current regulatory standard for traffic signs, I assume the dimensions will be very much the same.

I have just realised I confused myself.
To clarify my request.
We need a copy of the LNER drawing for Whistle Boards and also could do with a similar drawing for LNER Gradient boards for the reason as stated earlier but this is not as urgent as we can copy off an existing board.
Thanks again.

Hi Bryan

Just wondering if "search engine" at the NRM would be of any help to you?

I am afraid that I don't have anything in this area.
