Yes two distinct points of view. My feelings are as its a working structure and not an antique it should not have UNESCO status. Surely major changes to the bridge would require planning permission anyway.
The bridge could be better promoted having a viewing area and catering/souvenir outlets like the Humber bridge, that might give a few more jobs to locals and bring in a few tourist dollars.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
