NER and LMS wheel pattern

at shildon in the hackworth workshop on the left wall next to nelson /bradyle there is a timber pattern for a loco driving wheel, marked in the pattern makers letters is n.e.r near the top next to the pattern number,and at the bottom it is also marked l.m.s.
has anyone got any idea as to what classes it was for?

Have you thought of asking Anthony Coulls of the NRM?
He was curator at Shildon till recently.

yes please i suspect it might be for an o-6-0
you might be answer this ,if there is a redundent lampost on a bridge that has the 25kv overheads under the same bridge,do they need the overheads off to be able to crane it down.
