What happened to 51' 1.5" Non-vestibule CL 32455?

I saw this non-vestibuled lavatory composite carriage many years ago in Starbeck, and subsequently at the Museum of Yorkshire Farming. Does anyone know if it still exists and if so where it can be found?

Thanks

Mike, I have also been trying to find out what happened to this vehicle recently but had no joy. The guys at the Derwent Valley Railway don't seem to have it recorded where it went either. It was moved from Starbeck and spent some time stored at Murton after which time it was either scrapped or sold on.
There was a rumour that the underframe was used under an ECJS sleeper being restored near Elvington but I am quite certain that this was put on a GE underframe (that also came from Starbeck).
A bit of a mystery.

Thanks Dave. It was Andrew Daniel that took me to see it at Starbeck and I was able to take a few photos in the days of using film around the time we used to meet up in Harrogate.

BTW I also have photos of someone's buffet car at Buckfastleigh, the first Gresley I ever saw.

Hi Mike, can't believe it is 27 years now since 641 (9129) was purchased from the DVR and 20 years since the LNERCA had 2 coaches at Starbeck.
Hopefully this posting might shed some light on the 'missing' CL. There is a posting on the RailC site that did not come to anything that you may want to have a look at:

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/r ... ssage/6126

The VCT site says it disappeared between 1995 and 1999.

Hopefully catch up with you soon.
