Station Quiz (1)

It's Sunday (notice how perceptive I am). I'm bored and stressed waiting for confirmation of a flight to my new life. I feel a quiz is needed to brighten things up.
Here's how it goes:
This post and the following two contain a total of 15 old postcard images.
For each picture there are two points up for grabs ( 1 point for the station name, and one point for the pre-grouping company.............all part of the LNER). That makes a total of 30 points.

With me so far?

Okay now.......time limits. Shall we give it 72 hours from the time of this post?

Post your answers in replies and I'll give you your total points (but not the answers). Answers to the quiz to be posted in 72 hours. You can blow them up with photoshop if you want, but I think I've managed to airbrush out any signboards.

Are we ready?

Let's go. (I suspect a lot of you will score maximum points)

Malcolm.

When I saw the first picture I thought Ah this is going to be a doddle. Some hopes. It was the only one I recognised.

No. 1 = Penistone.

Only recognise one of these - No14 is Cloughton, Scarborough and Whitby Railway.

(Don't think No8 is Hull, as suggested above)
