Ex GCR carriage images on ebay. Superb shots!

Hi all,
I wouldn't normally point out Ebay sales, but a chap is currently selling a series of negatives for portraits of ex-GCR carriages that seem to be taken in the 1946-55 period. (pretty well spread out over the Southern area too- one turned up in Norwich!) There are some (albeit watermarked) 1200x1200 preview images. pretty much the clearest photos I've seen of some of these vehicles.
I am suprised to see one of the parker 12-wheeler open 3rds (Brush- built 1907) still going in the early 50s. It looks quite beaten-up, but the underframe trussing differs from what I have in my copy of the diagram book. Have I made a mistake identifying it, or does this represent an in-service modification I wonder?

search ebay for 'Great Central' and that does the trick.. worth a look! Ends 18-08-09, 04.15am
