Hello people, ageing hippie want to talk to anyone about CONSETT @district /NER . when said places had a railway HA,HA only just got hang of comput online .quite a canny small scale modeller HELP ps first time on this thing ,blanket apologes[sic] JETHRO

Welcome to the forums!
The Consett iron ore trains are pretty famous. Alas I'm too young to remember them!
(well in steam, in theory I'm old enough to remember them in their diesel days although I never saw them)
