I wondered if anyone could answer a query about tenders fitted to Peppercorn A1s. From looking at photos it seems that sometimes they are fitted with disc wheels, and sometimes spoked wheels. Is there a pattern to this, like with the snap headed rivets fitted to Doncaster built A1's. Are spoked wheels only fitted to the Timken roller bearing models, or from a certain number onwards, or at a certain works?
Would be helpful to know for modelling purposes.
