I am compiling information for producing a possible publication on the High Dyke branch near Grantham. This will depend on the amount of photographs I can source. I am looking for photos, articles, people of the branch and of Grantham. I am particularly interested in High Dyke signal box and its history. Does anybody have a copy of the signal box track diagram? Look forward to any help I can get. Regards.

Hi, Good luck with the project. It is a very interesting stretch of line. I have these photos in high definition plus a fair amount of other memorabilia from the branch. If you would like to use any photo's etc they would need to be properly credited and that perhaps best discussed by PM.

Just to keep you informed on my progress with the book.
I have now a great deal of information, photographs and personal accounts - I can always do with more! Thanks to everyone who has contributed. I am now looking for some specific items which I hope will be able to put the icing on the cake so anything will be appreciated.
Stainby signal box track diagram, and photos of box
Burton Lane signal box track diagram.
Colsterworth Mines signal box track diagram
OS map or official map showing positions of signals along the branch, I am actually compiling this from photos etc. but am lacking information between High Dyke and Colsterworth.
I am aiming for a late 2011/early 2012 publication date so I have about six months more research time.
I am on my knees with my hands together!
