Tunnel Tiger - Woodhead Tunnel

I am trying to find a photograph taken of a young worker at the Woodhead Tunnel sometime between 1950 - 1953. The photograph was published at the time in a newspaper (I believe it was a national paper) and the caption was 'Tunnel Tiger'. I really don't have very much information to go on but I would love to know if there are any museums that exhibit any information about the tunnel. I thought this may be a good place to kick off. Any other ideas or pointers gratefully received.
