Oil Lamp Identification

Hello.

Can anyone help identify the small oil lamp from the attached photos.

It measures 2" x 21/2" x 51/2" high, bevel glazed on 3 sides with a front sliding door, a LNER script plated oil vessel, burner and reflector.

Possibly a water gauge glass lamp but these are usually glazed at the front only and seem to be larger..

The back is solid with a slot for the reflector.

David Gillis.

This looks to me like a (non railway) cart/carriage lamp as it's way too fancy for a gauge glass lamp.
The 'LNER' plate on the reservoir looks remarkably like the flattened out front of an LNER overcoat button!
Perhaps someone was trying to pass it off as a railway lamp ? Willing to be corrected.
