Antique Linen LNER Map

Post by apollo92 »

Anyone got any info on this lovely old LNER map? If not thought you guys/gals might enjoy it. I think it probably early 20th century. It is linen with ebonised wooden poles top and bottom. Can't seem to find any date on it but it is in fabulous condition. Thanks

Since the LNER came into existence in 1923, and evaporated at the end of 1947, that's your date span. Most desireable item, especially in fine condition. Keep it out of direct sunlight, ideally behind a UV screening glass, if you wish to have it on display permanently.
