Interesting to see the LNER livery of 1255. According to Yeadon it was a Heaton engine at the time
What was the Inspection coach ?
It looks as though it might have been in LNER teak paint.

Other locos noted were a WD an A2 and a J37? plus a small Named industrial probably owned by Macalpines.
1255 was indeed a Heaton loco and very smart she looked in full LNER livery 8 months after the demise of the company. I think the inspection saloon belonged to the District Civil Engineer and thinking on i posted a pic of what could be the same coach behind a D20 at Berwick in the modelling thread.

The inspectioncoach was a purpose built vehicle completed only a short time before the washout happened. Photo of it is in Harris LNER Carriages.
