Re the girlies squabbling about whose Engines are best let me remind you that

Who chatted to Gresley
Who begat Thompson

Sorry but you have got the wrong end Poker in your eye, and talking to someone who ONLY has ONE eye it can be rather pain full and a nuisance especially when My glass eye drops out £250 to replace it is not a regular optionmanna wrote:G'Day Gents
Lifeboat 1721, Welcome to our happy home, but you have me totally confused, did you say that you were born in 1721, your Father was Eric Morcombe, your Mother comes from Hull, and you want to be a Hovercraft when you grow up, or have I got the wrong end of the poker in my eye

I was born in 1955, My father came from Burnley and my Mother came from Newhaven Sussex, I have always been a keen fan and supporter of the RNLI having seen them from when a kid when I used to head south to Newhaven and slide down the slip and splash into the sea, and in those days they got soaked before they left the port to rescue people. No waterproof suits in them days.

Thanks for taking a look at my Picks, Sadly I don't think I will be able to make it to Liverpool for the "Illustrious" I have been down once already for QM2, Liverpool is not the easiest place for me to get to and to do the kind of shot I like (full length) then it's a trip to New brighton, If my sister is free then I may be able to get a lift as I can't drive because of my health probs.
If you want to see any picks I surgest that you have a look on http://www.flickr.com/ and just do a search.
Regards
Ian
