A question has arisen elsewhere.
When and where was the last LNER van built that had a wooden underframe?

This is the reason why.

As far as I can tell it was during 1934 the last wooden framed vans were built steel ones were built before this time

All the LNER built fish vans had wooden underframes, so that takes us to 1938

On looking further I have seen a referance for 1936 now for vans
