But its a Toad D, as is the Bachmann model, not a B or E, and definitely a bit on the small side for 7mm...mick b wrote:Hornby do a upto date LWB version . Looks good in pictures , never seen one in the flesh.

Re: Brake vans
And the next, by Richard no less, mentioned 7mm as did subsequent posts speculating on Parkside's anticipated Toad B or D. But that started 18 months ago and, after all, the thread title is 'Brake vans' - with no scale mentioned. A far better place for that update than the 'how to convert a 4mm Bachbyfix BR van to something else' running elsewhere. I did do a search for somewhere that mentioned the previous Parkside 7mm kit rather than start a new thread and this was it.mick b wrote:Original post was for 4mm models65447 wrote:But its a Toad D, as is the Bachmann model, not a B or E, and definitely a bit on the small side for 7mm...mick b wrote:Hornby do a upto date LWB version . Re: Brake vans
Cullercoats edited the scale in after my comment asking the scale!
I find 4mm modellers often don't quote the scale - they're assuming everyone else is a 4mm modeller.
We have quite a few N and 7mm people here...

Parkside 7mm Toad B kit is now listed on their website under New Products as PS115, due for release 2016, with transfers for LNER and BR and at same price as the Toad E kit, £42.90.
