Am I right in thinking that there was originally a set of sidings at this location, possibly as part of the Immingham Docks set up? At present all the Roxton Sidings box seems to do is control a level crossing.
I can find no references to its history on t'interweb, just some photos of the box itself

Re: Roxton Sidings
I think I've solved the question I posed originally
Looking recently at an old set of OS maps I spotted that the sidings at that site were originally called Immingham Sidings. The farm nearest to them is called Immingham Grange Farm.
On a later map they have become Roxton Sidings after Roxton Farm the other side of the track but this after the Immingham Docks complex had been built!!
Maybe the name change was to avoid confusion between Immingham Docks Sidings and Immingham Grange Sidings?
