Yes the forums were unavailable for much of the past few hours. This was due to an update to the software which isn't currently working.
I have filed a support request. There might be continued outages over the next day or so until I get the new update released.

Even a regular install takes 15+ minutes. There's a lot of database data to backup, etc!

Well we're back and running 3.1!!

Ended up having to do the update myself - lost a bit of hair, and time to pour myself a scotch or a bourbon - whichever comes off the shelf first

Yes things look a bit different. Looks like the v3.1 themes are different, and I think clearer.
I need to modify some stuff still - we need to get back to the green, and we need our logo back. I'll work on that over the next day or two.

Let me know if you see anything that isn't working (other than the styles and header which I know look "different").
