Hi
Can anyone assist

Thompson A2/3 LNER livery some questions

Was the rear of the tender lined out or plain applegreen. I am building the DJH kit ther are steps and a handrail on the rear. Hence i am presuming plain :?:

Buffer Housings black or red :?:

In the kit is asurrounding frame for the cab glazing was this wood as on A4's:?: also was the frame around the forward facing cab glazing Brass colour :?:

Any info re this or anything relating to Thomsons Pacifics would be great :!:

For anyones info , the kit is generally good. However no rivet detail on the footplate at all. Poor line up of slidebars and motion bracket. Perhaps the PDK kit may be better :?: :!:

thanks
Mick :D

Hi, rear of tender is panelled on some locos but not others post -war ,
they should be lined out according to painting details but it seems after the war this was not always carried out for whatever reason.

I think the seats should be brown like old car seats ( leather ) thats what I do with them and no one has complained

Very nice Mick, what radius curve are you running it on?

Good question short answer is i dont know!! I have a layout consisting of the old track piece sitting on a piece of 2x1 on which the photos were taken, She runs ok on the track which is very poor indeed.
i intend moving house early next year and i will then start a layout. I hope to make curves as large as possible.
I doubt if she would cope with anything under 3foot radius , time will tell!!!
