Gresley Quad Art Sets In BR Service

Post by 56B »

Hello All

I have just joined the group, and have recently started constructing models again after a while doing odd bits and bobs. I wonder if anyone can help me, I am looking at purchasing an Ian Kirk Quad Art kit for Christmas, the problem is I am having trouble locating info on these sets in their later days, when I want to model a set, as there are two types listed all 3rd and composite. Having read David Percivals Kings Cross Lineside book I realise that only a few sets lasted into the 60's has anyone info on numbers etc. I would hate to get this 50 / 50 gamble wrong!
