Does anyone make these on "00" or are there any kits.

Otherwise does anyone know of a detailed plan of one

Boris,
Have a glance on pages 3,5 and 6 of my workbench to see some somersaults plus some plans and photos from Mick Nicholson as well-I haven't made any since but wanted to establish the fact that with care they are not impossible.....though I imagine the chance of them being available "RTR" is slim you can produce just about any combination from the parts and etches available.
I have some more plans and some prototype photos available too if you want....

I built this from MSE parts. Its a 7mm model but I can't see why it shouldn't be possible in 4mm.

The tricky part is the link from the spectacle plate to the arm. The position of the link pin on the arm is crucial. Its worth persisting to get a good movement. According to the books the prototypes were supposed to move to near vertical when clear but if you check some photographs they often didn't, some only managed 45 degrees.

Some sources...

A Pictorial Record of LNER Constituent Signalling by A A Maclean

An Illustrated History of GNR Signalling by Michael A Vanns

RailMODEL Digest No. 5 - Edited by Iain Rice

that last one might be very hard to find but worth seeking out as it has a short account of a 4mm build. It also has a useful exploded drawing of the arm and linkage.

Model Railway Journal issue 168 has my article about a 7mm model which might be helpful.
