I want to model the 10:35 Saturdays-only Blackpool to Aberdeen, c.1960

The excellent "Memories of Steam from Glasgow to Aberdeen" (Michael S Welch) includes a 1961 photo, comprising Stanier P2 and P3 diagrams; not all of the train formation is in view, however

First class accommodation appears to be limited to a brake composite (dia 1720) and a restaurant composite (dia 1938); the other coaches in shot being third open and third corridor stock

Can anyone confirm whether that was the norm for this service?

I think those are LMS diagrams you're quoting, so you may be on stony ground. Bill B may know.

Otherwise, get yourself over to RMWeb and ask 'Coachmann' on there.
