Gorton – a modelling question
Posted: Tue Jun 24, 2008 4:04 pm
I’ve received the following request which is way beyond my own knowledge as it’s really a modelling question .....
“Can you please help?? My father is due to retire in October from the railways after 47 yrs .
He first started @ Gorton loco and even to this day the old hands [very few now] call each other 9g. I am trying to locate a picture or an idea of how this "9g" was laid out or appeared as I am trying to have the very same made for him when he retires can you help me?”
I’m reluctant to post personal data on the web and so, if anyone in this group/forum believes that he can contribute in a positive fashion, would you be so kind as to contact me off-list please and I’ll share the contact details on that basis.
Rgds,
Mike M.
