Thompson coach letters and numbers

I am in the process of building a rake of Thompson corridor coaches in gauge 1 and am in need of some details. The livery is as they were in the late 1940s and I need to make a set of transfers for the letters and numbers on the coaches. I have the equipment to reproduce these but need the fonts and good pictures of the originals can anyone help or suggest where I could go for these?

Thank you

Buy a set of PC Methfix LNER transfers and use those as the exemplar.

Nick Campling does some good diagrams of the lettering and shading in Historic Carriage Drawings Vol. 1. They are black and white, though.

You could also try Brian Haresnape's LNER liveries book.

I'm not sure the carriage numbering style changed under Thompson the way loco numbering did, though that may have been more to do with using up transfers than anything else.

Many thanks to those who sent details of the Thompson coaches to us. We have now added these to our line in Gauge 1 and have supplied several rakes to customers in the UK and Australia.
Hopefully I have attached a couple of pictures of the rake of coaches behind my A3 before being dispatched.

They are finished in the correct late LNER Coach Brown.
